Dr Asif Shahzad is a Practice Partner and Principal at Jimboomba Medical Centre and an experienced Australian General Practitioner with advanced fellowships in General Practice and Rural & Remote Medicine, together with an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics. He provides comprehensive family medical care with a special interest in advanced skin cancer medicine, procedural general practice, rural procedural practice, medical education, and building sustainable models of high-quality primary care.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Shahzad is actively involved in medical education as an RACGP examiner, RACGP and ACRRM supervisor, and teacher of medical students, supporting learners at every stage of their training. He is passionate about clinical excellence, lifelong learning, and delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.
Beyond medicine, Dr Shahzad is committed to community service and leadership through a number of professional and charitable organisations. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, camping, four-wheel driving, and spending time with his wife and three sons.
