Dr. Chin Huang is a dedicated General Practitioner who completed his medical training at the University of Queensland. He is also a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). With a strong commitment to healthcare across Australia, he has practiced in various regions of Queensland, rural NSW and Tasmania, gaining a breadth of experiences in diverse medical settings before settling in the area.
Dr Chin enjoys all aspects of general practice. His special interests include chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, chronic back pain), weight loss management, paediatrics, men’s health, women's health, preventive health. He is passionate about providing long-term, continuity of care for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. He is also known for his approachable manner and ability to explain complex medical concepts in clear, easy-to-understand language. He is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their own health journey.
Outside of work, he enjoys an active lifestyle, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends.
Apart from English, he also speaks fluent Mandarin, Taiwanese and Hokkien.
